The world is filled with red and orange hues and the air outside just feels comforting and cozy. You spend your weekdays cuddled up on the couch with a cup of warm apple cider and your weekends are spent pumpkin picking with friends. But the best part about fall is Halloween, of course.

But as exciting as Halloween is, we often find ourselves leaving our costumes to the very last minute. With all the other exciting parts about fall, it’s easy to let the weeks go by and forget about Halloween. But planning a last minute Halloween costume doesn’t have to be difficult. You just have to be creative with it. Check out these 5 last-minute ideas for Halloween:

1.  A Vampire

Accidentally left your Halloween costume to the day of and have about an hour to throw something together? Easy, be a vampire. A vampire is a classic Halloween costume that you can quickly put together. All you need is black clothes, fake blood, and fangs, of course. Just take a quick trip to the costume store and you will have a great costume in no time.

2.  Wear a Funny Halloween T-Shirt

If you don’t have the time to put together an entire costume, wearing a Halloween T-shirt is an easy go-to. Halloween shirts are great if you don’t really want to dress up but still want to take part in the festivities. Wear a funny Halloween shirt with a simple pair of jeans and you’ve got yourself a perfect costume to wear out with your friends.

3.  A Skeleton

Another easy Halloween costume you can throw together quickly is a skeleton. There are many ways you can dress up as a skeleton. You can wear all black and do a simple skeleton makeup look with face paint.

In an ideal world, we would have ample time to plan out our Halloween costumes. But unfortunately, more often than not, we leave our costumes to the last minute and are left throwing something together on Halloween day.
