I finished listening to It! That was such a trek, but SO good and now I’m super excited for the movie. Although I suppose I should go back and watch the original, too.
Now I’m listening to The Princess Diarist. I miss Carrie already. But, actually, by the time you read this, I’ll probably be finished listening already. It’s SUPER quick. But I love listening to it because I feel like she’s just telling me stories.
Oh, btw, if you have been thinking about trying out audio books, I HIGHLY recommend this deal: try Audible and Get Two Free Audiobooks.
(Yes, that is an affiliate link, but you don’t even have to buy anything. Just trying it out helps me!)
I’m drinking SO much water these days. Which is probably great, but I literally have to use the restroom like every 45 minutes all day long. This is problematic when you have a 60-90 minute drive to work.
I just watched the movie Sing Street last week and omygosh I love the entire soundtrack. But particularly this song:
- For the 49ers to get a decent coach and also let go of Kaepernick
- And also these:
A bigger bladder
I helped Kelli write a grant for our trip to India, and she found out last week that she got it!
Also, I finally finished listening to It. It’s 45 HOURS long, so I consider this a triumph.
Last month, I listed Rogue One as my current film. Even though I hadn’t seen it yet. What a mistake that was!
I’ve been feverishly trying to hurry up and see some final possible Oscar contenders. Since my last update I have watched:
- La La Land (Meh)
- Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (Meh)
- Passengers (Personally, I liked it)
- Fences (Good)
- The Witch (Ugh)
- Deadpool (Ugh)
- Other People (Meh)
- Jackie (Hmm…)
- Deepwater Horizon (Not bad)
- Silence (Good)
- Bright Lights (Tears!)
- Sing Street (LOVE)
- Hidden Figures (LOVE)
This week I WILL finally see Moonlight.
And, of course, I still want EVERYONE to go see Lion because I love it so much! But make sure you bring tissues because you will CRY!
And don’t miss Split! Which is now in theaters!
My mom and I went to Disneyland the week after New Years when it was still all decked out for Christmas. The castle is beautiful, but I think It’s a Small World was my favorite:
I’m sure it’s hard to believe I have had any time for TV with all the movies I’ve been watching. But, since a lot of shows have been on winter breaks, there hasn’t been a lot to see. Although I have made time for these:
- The Goldbergs (because, duh)
- Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath (SO good)
- The Bachelor (SO bad)
- The Crown (good)
- The Good Place (cute)
- Football (I wanna cry…)
And then there’s this one:
I cannot fully express to you how much I loved Lemony Snicket’s Series of Unfortunate Events on Netflix. It is a PERFECT adaptation of the books and Neil Patrick Harris is delightfully awful!
Current Celebrity Crush
My mom and I just went and saw a special 65th anniversary screening of Singin’ in the Rain. I forgot how adorable Gene Kelly was:
All the Netflix movies! And also HBO Go. Basically I’m just addicted to my television.
I honestly change into my pajamas the second I walk in the door. Whether it’s 10 PM or 3 PM, I don’t care.
Current Banes of My Existence
Wake-up alarms. I wanna snooze!
Guess what I’m doing this weekend!!
So it’s been awhile since I mentioned my love for the My Favorite Murder Podcast, but they are doing a LIVE SHOW this weekend in LA and I’m gonna be there! SOOO EXCITED!
