Some of the tracks go too far into the realm of “why, Madonna, why” with weird lyrics that try too hard to be clever, like in the aforementioned Mike Tyson “collaboration.”
But ultimately, I enjoy the vibe and can already tell that a couple of these songs, namely “Ghosttown” are destined to wind up on the radio soon. Which is something Madonna hasn’t done in a long time.
Here’s a quick peek at the video for “Living for Love”, just to give you an idea of the sound Rebel Heart is all about:
As per usual, you can find Rebel Heart on iTunes by clicking here.
You can also check out her website to find the dates for her upcoming tour at Madonna.com. She’s pretty much sticking to the coasts on this tour, so if you’re in the middle of the country, sorry. But hey, see her in LA and come visit me while you’re at it!
Have you checked out this album yet, or any of the released songs? If so, what do you think?
