Whenever I find a new product to love, I just feel the need to tell everyone.
It’s another thing altogether for me to decide to sell it.
And yet, that’s just what has happened to me.
A few months ago, fellow blogger Allena and her friend Jenna started touting the mystical benefits of essential oils. I thought it was a bunch of silliness, to be honest. But every few days, one or the other would write about another oil and the ways to use it and how it helped with this issue or that one.
I finally decided to try ordering a couple just to see what the fuss was about.
One of the oils I ordered is called Thieves and is supposed to be super awesome and anti-bacterial and everything. There’s a whole history about how it came to be, but I’ll spare you the details for now. The point is that I ordered it and then sort of forgot about it because I didn’t really have a use for it.
And then, one afternoon, I had a sore throat. The kind that foretells of an oncoming illness.
I don’t have time to be sick. Like, at all. So this couldn’t have come at a worse time.
I woke up the next morning and couldn’t get out of bed. I felt horrible, called in sick to work, and went back to sleep. Sometime later, I woke again and was frustrated at myself for getting sick and lamenting the fact that I had nothing on hand to alleviate my symptoms.
That’s when I remembered that bottle of Thieves sitting right there on my nightstand.
The instructions said it could be used in a variety of ways, so I threw a couple of drops into a glass of water and drank it.
An hour later, my throat wasn’t sore, my congestion was clearing up, and I felt 100% better.
Which is when I officially became one of Those People. Those Oil People.
I was so impressed with the results that I decided to become a distributor. Because this is a product I believe in. And one that I want everyone to know about.
So, it’s true. You can now order Essential Oils through my website. I’m doing this because I love the product and want to introduce it to others. I’m not in it to make a lot of money. I’ll probably post occasionally about some new oil I’ve tried or another product, but I’m not turning my blog over to this endeavor or anything. It’s just another something I do.
