That quote used to be part of my header.
It’s from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and I’ve always loved it because it so perfectly describes how I feel most of the time. Always falling, falling down, looking around and wondering what could possibly come next.
Six years ago, I started this humble little blog as a way to keep up with friends after I’d moved back to California from Utah.
I never imagined that six years later I’d still be at it and that I would have met so many amazing people because of this little scrap of internet real estate.
How they do pass in a blink.
It’s been six years of chronicling and reviewing and sharing and meme-ing and getting to know you all. I feel so blessed to call some of you my real-life friends, and wish I could just invite you all over for a big gluten-free pizza party.
Don’t worry. There would be plenty of chocolate and Dr. Pepper.
And Diet Coke for the calorie conscious.
Some of you are here for the laughs. Others are here because we share a bond of singlehood. And some are here for REALLY strange reasons based on your Google searches. But you’re here. And that makes me glad.
Here’s to six awesome years. And to many, many more since I plan to continue blogging long after blogging is “dead.”
And, what the heck. I’m feeling a little bit spontaneous. I just now decided we’re going to have a giveaway. Because why not?
Enter to win a $20 gift card to Barnes and Noble. Why B&N? Because I love them. And because it’s my blog birthday and I say so.
